Here are my answers to the extra credit opportunites:

1. 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/8 + 1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8 = 1 3/4 [ you can also just use the 1/8 measuring cup and add 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8+ 1/8+ 1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8+1/8=1 3/4]

2. Clarence is correct because if Dylan ate 3/4 (6/8) and Ethan ate 3/8 it would be an improper fraction, more than a whole pizza.

3. Less than 1. Maggie 1/3 + 1/12 = 4/12 + 1/12 = 5/12; Anna 1/6 + 1/4 = 2/12 + 3/12 = 5/12
5/12 + 5/12 = 10/12 less than l.

4. Chaz = 5/8 = 10/40 Alex lives the farthest from school. Chaz lives the closest to school.
Alex = 7/10 = 28/40
Logan = 2/5 = 16/40

5. GCF is the largest factor between two numbers. LCM is the least common factor between
two numbers.
